Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Student Growth (TAP) will meet Jan. 30.

The Technical Advisory Panel for Longitudinal Student Growth will meet on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon. The public meeting will be held in the state boardroom, CDE, 201 E Colfax Ave, Denver. If you're unable to attend in person feel free to join by Adobe Connect , conference number: 855-840-9121.
The meeting agenda will include items related to the Local Accountability Grant, On-track Metric (High School) and Postsecondary Sub-indicator development.

** Early Literacy Assessment Tool Project applications open

The Early Literacy Assessment Tool (ELAT) Project is accepting applications for the 2020-21 school year. A webinar explaining the application processis is available.   

The application is available online via SurveyMonkey and due by Friday, Jan. 31, by 11:59 pm.

Educator Talent

Finishing strong and planning for the upcoming year professional learning series

The Educator Effectiveness team continues its professional learning series in support of districts/BOCES by hosting regional gatherings focused on “Finishing Strong and Planning for the Upcoming Year.”

District/BOCES teams are encouraged to attend to review the current district implementation of evaluation systems, explore strategies for maximizing the end-of-year activities, and to strategically plan for the new year. Team members can include superintendents, district leadership, principals/evaluators and teacher/school service professional leaders.

The 2020 Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education (CLDE) Academy is scheduled for Thursday, May 7. This is an annual opportunity to network with colleagues and share innovative, effective practices for Colorado English learners.

2020-21 ASCENT training and Q&A live webinar

CDE’s offices of School Auditing, October Student Count and Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness will host a training and Q&A webinar for the 2020-21 ASCENT (Accelerating Schools through Concurrent Enrollment) slot process from 10:30-noon on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
