Because of your hard work and commitment, P-EBT has reached over 306,000 students and over $239 million dollars in benefits have been issued to date. Additionally, through USDA funding from mini-grants, sponsors are expected to receive reimbursement for P-EBT efforts that collectively amounts to $320,000.

P-EBT will also be available for the summer. Students in grades PK-12 who attended school and were eligible for free or reduced-price meals during school year 2020-21, or are members of a SNAP household under the age of six, may be eligible for summer P-EBT. Please encourage families to complete a school meal application to establish eligibility for P-EBT. To support outreach to families, CDE, in partnership with LunchAssist, created a flyer and sample social media posts highlighting the importance of providing household income for this school year. Outreach materials in English and Spanish can be found in this google folder and on the back to school guidance webpage.

Thank you for all your hard work to ensure all eligible students receive this benefit. For questions, contact free&
