HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!

COURSE REGISTRATION FOR 2023-24

In the coming months, ninth to eleventh graders will be working with their counselors and teachers to develop their individual learning and college plans. SHC’s preparatory four-year scope and sequence is designed to ensure that students meet college admissions requirements and develop skills to succeed in and beyond college. Visit Department and Course Descriptions for specifics and schedule for the upcoming months. Further information will be posted regularly on Schoology SHC Announcements.


STUDENT LAUNCH INITIATIVE

The Student Launch Initiative (SLI) is starting up this semester and is open to all high school students. The SLI program teaches entrepreneurial problem solving and organizational skills through building products and organizations. Business owners will also mentor students in developing their ideas culminating in a Shark Tank event on April 19 where the student teams will present to a panel of entrepreneurs. The workshops will take place on Tuesdays from 5 - 7 pm starting on January 31 where we welcome Professor Sara Beckman from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

Come watch SHC's theatrical version, as a woman hiding in a convent helps her fellow sisters find their voices as she rediscovers her own. This feel-good comedy musical smash is sure to leave you tapping your toes! Tickets go on sale In February.
