Letter from the Principal

We are about to begin the season when people think about doing good deeds for others. With so many tragedies that we have recently faced in this country: mass shootings, hurricanes and fires, this good will is especially needed. Sometimes children hear things being said that are not kind and they repeat these things to other children causing hurt. Please talk to your children about being accepting of others’ religion, customs and beliefs. At Lincoln we are an inclusive community that respects and welcomes the beliefs of all of our families.

Congratulations to Tim Brown, Jennifer Gonzales, Janine Donelson and Andrea Caretto for the fabulous team work that culminated in our Winter Concerts. The Native American theme introduced a new focus for our school and added to our traditional holiday songs made for festive evenings.

Noriyo Kaluza selected wonderful books and gift items that kept her team of volunteers busy selling them. Also thanks to all of you who bought books for the classrooms.  Our children will enjoy them.

Thanks to the BASH committee for arranging such an outstanding event. From what I could see, everyone was having a great time reliving their 80’s prom years.
Our Partner in Education this week is Kelly Hudson with RE/MAX. She has two children at Lincoln and is one of our most enthusiastic sponsors. Thank you Kelly for your support!
We are thankful for your families and appreciate all that you do for Lincoln. Hopefully you are able to spend a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.  See you on Monday, November 26.

Delicious bread to benefit Lincoln

Hobby baker and Lincoln dad bakes fresh, tasty sourdough boules made from a homemade starter and high quality flours. All donations for a 2-3lb loaf will go towards projects at Lincoln. We’re currently collecting money for Ms Carretto’s artist in residence program. Email us at for a boule!

Coat donations

Don't forget to bring in your gently used winter coats of all sizes and put them in the donation box by the front office! Let's help keep others warm this winter!
