The world's a grim place, isn't it?
TERRORISM. THE ECONOMY. THE SYRIAN CONFLICT. CORRUPTION. ISIS.
Makes you wonder if there's anything good out there...
You bet there's good!
It all depends on your focus.
At RE-SPECS, we focus on the good stuff.

SAVING SIGHT. FOSTERING SELF-RESPECT. HELPING PEOPLE TO SEE. ALLEVIATING FINANCIAL STRAIN. SERVING WITH A SMILE. REACHING OUT.
This is, we believe, what the world really looks like.
Our customers are grateful to RE-SPECS
and this is why...

"I am three-and-a-half years old. This is the first time ever that I am wearing glasses - and I have a high prescription! I see my Mommy and Daddy much better now. Why do you think I'm grinning?"

"I've been walking around without glasses for a very long time. I couldn't see well at all before, but now I can see great! There's no other place that comes even close to RE-SPECS; I warmly recommend this special organization."

"I live in a hostel for pensioners from the FSU. I still have trouble communicating in Hebrew; I try but usually fall back on my native Russian. I am so pleased to have ordered glasses that I could afford, that I'm going to spread the word."

"I arrived a month ago from Venezuela and am staying at an absorption center until I find my feet here. It's not easy starting over in a new environment, so discovering such a great service has been a huge help. Todah Rabah!"

Good Deeds Day 2016

This is our 4th year participating in Good Deeds Day. It's great to join the hundreds of organizations and thousands of volunteers who mark the day by doing good deeds - something that we focus on all year round.
"We have been volunteering at RE-SPECS for a few months now as part of our Social Bagrut Certificate program. It's loads of fun and gives us lots of satisfaction - especially at the booth we hosted recently in Kfar Saba on Good Deeds Day."
"We like the idea of making a craft project using recyclable materials. On Good Deeds Day, we learned that RE-SPECS can't use old glasses lenses for other people's glasses - instead we can recycle the lenses in a creative way."
So, what do you see when you look out at the world?
The grim or the good?
