RIVER TREE ARTS

We are very excited to announce that we will be remaining in our home at
35 Western Ave!

Through a lot of hard work, creative thinking, new energy and a growing group of supporters we have turned the corner and are beginning a new chapter. Faced with a potential foreclosure on our property with a balloon payment due May 1, our efforts over this past year to develop a sustainable business plan were rewarded in our ability to obtain bank financing to satisfy our debt obligation. Thank you to our many supporters and friends of River Tree Arts who helped us get past this significant hurdle. This is a major milestone in our campaign to save Maine's oldest non-profit community arts center and one that is worth celebrating.

As we go forward we will continue to provide high quality music, voice, dance, and visual art programming. The board of directors will focus on collaborating with our staff and faculty to ensure we continue our transformation. Our River Tree Renaissance fundraising campaign will continue. The ultimate goal is to re-establish River Tree as a healthy and vibrant non-profit organization that serves the seacoast for years to come.

We would particularly like to thank Camden National Bank and Bergen & Parkinson for being true business partners through our restructure. With their guidance, resolve, timeliness, and support for our mission, they have been integral in keeping us in our home. They took the time to understand us and our needs and have been invested in our success.

The strength of this community and its ability to rally people behind a cause cannot be overstated.

We hope to see you at 35 Western soon!
