* Pottery for Tweens, 2:30 - 4:30pm
For grades 6+
7 week session: April 28 - June

At River Tree Arts, we strive to design fun, challenging and educational projects to expand upon our students imaginations. Hand-building as well as throwing on the pottery wheel and trimming basics will be covered in this 7 week Pottery session for “Tweens.” 

$165/members, $180/non-member

* Improv Club, 3:30 - 5pm

Grades K+
7 week session: April 26 – June 7
The skills developed in River Tree Arts theater program give students the ability and confidence to become creative problem-solvers, inspired communicators and innovative thinkers. Our approach to teaching the process of acting, through games and play, encourages students to use their potential and lets their imaginations soar. 

Price: $135/members, $150/non-members



* Clay Club, 3:30 - 5:30
Treacher: Megan Holtham
For grades 1+

7 week session: April 27 – June 8
In this class, students will explore the nature of clay using many techniques such as pinch pots, coil pots, slab building and the pottery wheel. We will learn to apply glazes and fire all clay pieces in our kiln. Cups, bowls, tiles, animal sculptures and more! Bring your imaginations and willingness to get a little dirty!

$165/members, $180/non-members

* Early Release, 12:30 - 3:30pm
DATES: May 4th & June 1st 
For grades K + 
Everyone is invited to Art Adventures at River Tree Arts! Each month students will be inspired by a different themes. Students will have the chance to try different art mediums, explore, create & most importantly, have fun in the art room!

$22/members, $25/non-members


* After School Art, 3:30 - 5:30pm
Grades K +
7 week session: April 27 – June 8

Build, fold, tear, coil, press, cut and make lasting connections to the many creative ways to play and create art! Students develop new skills and talents while designing unique creations using a variety of materials. This class is sure to get those creative juices flowing as students enjoy a hands on tactile experience with art!

$155/members, $175/non-members

* DIY Lobster Buoys

Decorate an authentic full size lobster buoy. RTA faculty Megan Holtham will use nautical themes & colors as your inspiration to design your very own buoy.  Buoys can be used to decorate your front door or interior & make the best souvenirs. (BYOB)

$25 per student or $45 for two

Thursday April 28

* Aromatherapy

Awaken your senses with Barbara Fraser as she shows us how to mix essential oils to create therapeutic blends that serve to de-stress and heal ourselves. Meditation, hand massage, and breathing techniques will be demonstrated and all students will leave feeling rejuvenated with their own special blends created during the workshop.

$25 per student or $45 for two 


Thursday May 5

* Personalize Your Own Sign

A We will explore ways of altering old weathered boards to create beautiful personalized signs. Enjoy this tactile experience by displaying your favorite quote or song lyrics in a visual way. Students will use paint and basic hand tools to make their own sign, and will be provided with hanging hardware. Bring your BFF and a bottle of wine and make it a creative night out!

$25 per student or $45 for two
