* Writing as a Healing Art, 6:30-8:30pm
6 week session: Jan 13 – Feb 24
(no class 2/17)

According to the New York Times writing therapy is replacing talk therapy. This writing workshop will provide a safe place for people to express themselves while keeping the focus on the writing as a developing craft. We are writing ourselves whole. It may be a song or a few poems that dislodges a deep grief. It may be a short story or a story slam that crafts a heralding tale. It may be pieces of memoir that say this is who I was to those you will leave behind. Whatever it is, the AWA method unlocks the hidden and frees the truth.

Please join us in welcoming, Kim Purcell-Shipman to our talented RTA faculty!
