Dear Neighbors,

This week, County officials announced that healthcare providers across Santa Clara County will expand access to COVID-19 vaccination to workers in:

Education and childcare
Emergency services, and the
Food and agriculture industries

Effective February 28, 2021. If you qualify, book your appointment as early as February 22nd by calling 2-1-1 or visiting sccFreeVax.org.

Great news! 50% of Santa Clara County's 75 and over population has been vaccinated, which is tremendous progress towards our goal to vaccinate those at higher risk of serious illness or death from COVID-19! Shout out to everyone who got vaccinated, assisted someone else in getting vaccinated, and to all of the teams who made these vaccinations possible.

Did you know? According to the CDC, double masking is up to 95% effective at preventing COVID-19 transmission when everyone double masks properly!

Pop up vaccine sites are reaching people ages 65+ closer to where they live. No appointment needed. Bring an ID and proof that you live in Santa Clara County. Vaccines are available free of charge. Health insurance is not required and it does not impact your immigration status.
