Dear Neighbors,

Qualifying renters impacted by COVID-19 may be eligible for emergency rental assistance:

If you or anyone you know is having trouble paying rent, rest assured that resources are available.

The Law Foundation of Silicon Valley will be putting on a Know Your Rights workshop on Wednesday, September 22nd from 4pm-5:30pm at San Ysidro Park in Gilroy, CA. This workshop will be conducted in English and Spanish.

This event is open to all residents throughout the County.

The County of Santa Clara and other community partners will also be tabling at this event to provide information on emergency rental assistance. Staff will also be available to help with rental assistance applications in both English and Spanish.

Be prepared in case your child gets sick:

Having a plan in place ahead of time can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in case your child gets sick.

Keep your children home and get them tested if they have any flu-like or COVID-19 symptoms.

Give children with symptoms their own space and items, allowing them to stay away from others as much as possible.

Have them isolate for 10 days. If they test positive for COVID-19, continue isolation and notify their school.
