Dear Neighbors,

Happy Lunar New Year!

We are already off to a great start. This week, we have:

  • Announced the opening of a new large-scale appointment-only vaccination site at Gilroy High School, expected to open by the end of the month
  • Opened the largest vaccination site in the state of California
  • Opened drop-in, community-based mobile vaccination clinics at sites in East San José and Gilroy

At our new drop-in sites, no appointment is needed! Eligible people will receive a wristband and instructions on when to return later in the day. Please make sure to bring an ID and proof of Santa Clara County address. 

This upcoming week (February 15th-19th):

Public Health Story Road Hub (1775 Story Road, San José, CA)
Open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Sign-ups start at 8:30am 

Gilroy Senior Center (7371 Hanna Street, Gilroy, CA)
Open Wednesday
Sign-ups start at 8am

Anyone who lives in Santa Clara County and is over the age of 65 or who is an eligible health care worker can receive vaccines at these sites regardless of their immigration status, healthcare provider, or insurance. Visit www.sccfreevax.org for more information.
