"I had a WONDERFUL time this weekend at Valor Games SE.
My first time away from home since COVID-19 started.
THANK YOU for getting me motivated to move on with Life."
Despite the rain (...and rain...and more rain!), we were so happy to be back together again with VGSE athletes who made the trip to Durham from all over the country brightening a very soggy second day of competition with their spirited energy.
Due to our continued vigilance to COVID-19, fewer athletes have been invited to each VGSE event this summer, but it has allowed for deeper conversation, greater connection, even some new-found rivalries :)
Thank you to all who gave of their time and resources to make the second day of VGSE21 so special including our sponsors, volunteers, staff, and athletes that continue to push the limits and prove just how important the games are for all our souls.
Scroll down to enjoy a few of the phone pics from this past weekend. (Super Photographer Ted's photos will be coming soon!)
"I've been to a lot of competitions,
but Valor Games SE is the one I look forward to
the most every year.
I'm so happy that Bridge II Sports found
a way of putting it on this year."
