I am so pleased to share with the community and beyond, that Bridge II Sports has been providing in-person adapted sports for the last 12 months with NO COVID-19 outbreaks.
Why? We created a policy based on the latest information available, during a very fluid time that became polarized by the daily shifts of best practice, exposure, symptoms, etc. How did we stay safe during our in-person programs for so long? It was a corporate commitment that gave us a strong outcome.
We respected the reality of the virus. We respected the value of people with disabilities needing activities. We respected the committed volunteers. We respected the Bridge II Sports Team who have implemented programs with the understanding of diverse needs for safety.
We should all be very proud of our efforts over the last year. It took all of us to be attentive and willing to follow the protocols we had in place to keep everyone safe. We have done one year of in person activity without any COVID-19!
As I have been reading and listening to the latest data, I would like to update our COVID-19 Plan:
In the spirit of Respect and Honor, and for our collective safety, I am asking all participants and volunteers who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to wear a face covering while engaging in Bridge II Sports programs.
Likewise, in the spirit of Respect and Honor, those who have been vaccinated, please respect those who choose to wear a mask. There are a host of medical issues that may not allow someone to have the vaccine at this time.
If you are asked to place a mask on your face if working closely with one of our Bridge II Sports family members, please do it.
It goes back to the core of what we believe at Bridge II Sports: We are a community where everyone belongs. As experts, we create safety for those at risk to try.
This is not replacing the rules we know: If you have a temperature above 100.4 degrees F, If you have been exposed to anyone with COVID-19, If you are having any symptoms of COVID-19 … Communicate, Isolate, and Return when you are well.
Let’s have another 12 months of fun and safe programming!

WAIT for it!
Programs are filling up fast for the summer.
If you’ve attempted to register only to get the dreaded message in red:
There is no space available for this event at this moment. Please continue to fill in the form and you will be added to our Waiting List. You will be notified when we have seats available.
Don’t give up! Continue to fill in the form and be added to the WAITLIST.
You are not charged a fee to be placed on the waitlist.
Our Program staff keep a running list of all athletes on the waitlist and do reach out when spots open up…which happens quite often.
By registering for the waitlist, Program staff know you are interested in that program date. When a spot opens up for that program date, staff will select the first athlete on the waitlist to fill the spot and will continue down the waitlist until it is filled.
We are doing our best to get everybody out this
summer to experience adapted sports.
