As you know the school has not reopened due to some damage from Hurricane Ida. We want to make sure the school is safe for all of our Creative Learners before they are on the campus. 

Reminder: September 24, 2021 will be a full day of school.

Dear Caregivers and Creative Learners -

  The past few weeks have been filled with many challenges and moments of joy.  I am so thrilled to be spending one of those moments of joy with you all as we come back together on Friday.  Hurricane Ida forced us apart, but in true YACS fashion, we are returning stronger than ever.  Your teachers have been working tirelessly to make sure that we have a place to be open and honest about any feelings that we have around the circumstances of the past few weeks.  They are also fully prepared to dive straight back into the curriculum to make sure each learner has all of the knowledge they need to be successful and confident in their educational journey.  As we move into these next few months, please continue to stay engaged and be an active participant in your learner’s work.  We are a team, and we need the support of everyone to make this year successful.  

  Thank you again for your dedication to your learner and to the YACS community.  I can’t wait to see you all on Friday.
