We are thankful for our subscribers, donors, partners, sponsors, and friends all year long, but this is the time of year we remember to stop and say “Thank you!” ChopChop Family wouldn’t be possible without all of you. We were reminded of that at our recent pop-up when we were able to share some great giveaways from sponsors and partners and interact with subscribers, board members, and friends. We hope you have an opportunity this month to spend time with the people you are most thankful for. Of course, we always hope you can do it in the kitchen, spending time cooking together and sharing a meal. This month we've collected recipes even the youngest chefs can help make so everyone can have a role in preparing a meal that brings your family together.

Give Back
There are a few ways that you can help out ChopChop Family this month. We’re participating in #GivingTuesday on December 3. On this day, instead of participating in the usual seasonal holiday shopping, individuals give to organizations they support. We’ll be using collected donations to distribute more magazines, hold more cooking classes and events, and further spread our message of cooking together and eating real food. If you can help us support our mission, please donate on our website. If you’re shopping on Cyber Monday (or the rest of the holiday season), you can help us by using AmazonSmile when making your purchase. Please designate us as your charity of choice so we can get a donation for every purchase you make. Thank you!
Sneak Peek
Our winter issue ships November 13, but we’re giving subscribers a sneak preview of what’s to come. You can expect bunches of bananas, rice recipes from around the world, and new edible holiday gifts your family can make right in your kitchen. From Arroz con Pollo to 5-Banana Banana Bread, we’re excited to share this issue with you.
Warm up with our recipes this winter. Subscribe now to receive a year of ChopChop, beginning with the next issue (Winter 2019).
Thanksgiving Recipes
While it probably makes sense to leave the turkey to the adults, there are plenty of ways kids can help cook for the upcoming holidays. We’ve got great Thanksgiving side dishes that everyone in the family can help prepare. Over the years, we have found time and time again that when kids take part in cooking a meal, they are more excited about it and more willing to try new foods. This year, let young cooks pick out one of these recipes and make it for the big meal.

We had a great time popping-up at Faneuil Hall from October 17–20. From food styling demonstrations to hopping on the blender bike, it was a great place to meet current readers and make new friends who are looking to cook real food with their families. If you made it, thanks! If not, you can see what you missed in our photo album.
