St. Ann's Episcopal Church

Connecting people to Jesus Christ for the transformation of our lives, families, and communities.

We hope to see you soon.
Today an email has been circulating claiming to be from me asking for assistance with a favor.  The email is not from me and no assistance is needed.  The email is coming from churchonline.nyc.04@gmail.com.  The content of the email is as follows:

Subject: Contact Request: PRESSING
Reply-To: churchonline.nyc.04@gmail.com

From: Rector (Pastor) The Very Rev. Neal Longe (churchonline.nyc.04@gmail.com)

Greetings ? I have a request.

Here's what I want you to do for me secretly. because I'm a little busy right now. I have been working on incentives and I aimed at surprising some of our diligent staff with gift cards this week. This should be Confidential until they all have the gift cards as it's a surprise and you will keep one for yourself too.

Can you get this done? and how soon?

Please disregard this email, report it as phishing/spam, and delete the message.  I apologize for any inconvenience.

Blessings,

Fr. Neal
