Meanwhile, at EAEA we've launched the 2016 Grundtvig Award publication, and the International Review of Adult Education has exceptionally released ten articles for free download - scroll down to find out more!

Join the EAEA Younger Staff Training - the applications are open!
Are you working in adult education? Would you like to find out more about advocacy at the European level? Are you interested in meeting your peers from like-minded organisations in Europe? Apply for the EAEA Younger Staff Training, taking place on 6-9 December in Brussels! Keep in mind that you can also use the KA1 grant to participate and don't forget to register before 15 November.

European-wide campaign of Adult Learning Festivals: share your experiences
EAEA is currently preparing a European-wide campaign of Adult Learning Festivals and will be happy to learn about your experiences in organising such festivals in your respective countries. Contact EAEA Policy Officer Raffaela Kihrer for more details.

Order the AVA Action Plan and improve validation systems in the EU
The AVA project consortium has launched a sound and comprehensive plan to allow everyone to work for more inclusive, permeable and effective validation systems. Order the AVA Action Plan in English, French or German from the EAEA website!

Sign the 'Adult Education Mobility Charter'!

The 'Adult Education Mobility Charter' aims to improve the possibilities of (younger) adult education staff to learn and develop their skills. To endorse it, please send an email to EAEA Project Officer Francesca Operti to be included in the list of supporters.

AEMA: Accessibility is a right, not a privilege
As the AEMA project is now coming to an end, on 20-21 October the partners gathered in Vienna to reflect on the past and plan the future. During its lifespan, the AEMA project has aimed at increasing participation of people with disabilities in adult education. DIMA partners meet in Bratislava
The DIMA project consortium is now finishing the practical toolkit for developing, implementing and monitoring adult education strategies. The partners will now work on the curriculum and run a pilot training in early 2017, both discussed during the 2nd meeting in Bratislava on 3-4 November. The Grundtvig Award brochure 2016 is now available online! Read about the most inspiring projects on the education of refugees and migrants. Have a look at the online version - the printed publication will be available within the next two weeks!

The final conference of the ESRALE project - which includes EAEA members DIE and University of Pecs, on European Studies and Research in Adult Learning and Education, will take place on 17-18 November in Bonn. The participants will discuss latest trends in AE and the possible way forward. Learn more about the event from the EAEA website.

Contribute to the upcoming issue of Spurensuche
Spurensuche - the Journal for the History of Adult Education and Popularisation of Knowledge published by VOEV - is planning a special issue under the theme of "Perspectives on the Internationality of Adult Education – from its Beginnings to the Present". DG Education and Culture has published the new Education and Training Monitor. The annual publication relies on a broad range of quantitative and qualitative sources including Eurostat, OECD, Eurydice and academic networks. German organisation LitCam in cooperation with ELINET launched LitCam Talk at the Frankfurt Book Fair. In a row of three panels, experts, researches, policy-makers and ELINET members will presented different perspectives on literacy and integration of migrants. Become a teacher for a MOOC
The ECO Learning project  is currently looking to create online courses targeted at vulnerable groups and create equal opportunity for them. The platform ECO has already covered 25 MOOCS in different topics such as education, social sciences, language and humanities. If you feel you could share your knowledge and become an e-teacher yourself, consult the Call for Teachers.

The International Review of Education – Journal of Lifelong Learning (IRE) has made ten recently published articles available for free download. They can be accessed and downloaded subscription-free from the publisher’s website at Springer. This promotion runs for two months, from 20 October to 20 December 2016.
