Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

“We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that creates something.” - Sandra Day O'Connor

This is how things are looking with the mural so far, one more week and I think I should be done :)

We are planning an opening event probably the second week of September.. will keep you posted once we have a confirmed date. Would love to see you there!

Mini Bio: As excited as I am to release my first music album ever, I think my most exciting moment this year was when I screened the compost I nurtured and was overwhelmed with amazing soil and a crazy brood of worms! Seriously. Dirt and worms. That makes me want to jump for joy :)

Q: What makes you jump for joy?
A: The intention to be joyful and to enjoy the simplicity and power of motion.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
I was a bit reflective and philosophical about the process at first. Once I got to jumping, I just felt the rush of air by the power of my muscles. I just felt alive.

Q: What inspires you in life?
I'm inspired by the limitlessness to our learning, including our unlearning. We're taught how to think and what to think. Curiosity keeps me inspired, especially when I find a way to break free of the unhelpful things I've learned. I'm especially inspired by what I learn from my 10 year old boy daily. He's especially good at questioning the status quo :)

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: I've always loved to sing. Finding resonance within my body, and then releasing it in a way that connects to others can be a real high. It seems a powerful force, and I've been driven to apply it to my other passion: caring for people and society by helping them to care for their environment.

I simply can't think of a better way (universal language of music) to draw people into a fundamental, yet often neglected factor of our health and happiness (our connection to nature).

Q: Driving Force?
Probably learning and philosophy. I'm an idea junkie and love to explore concepts and to express them creatively. Writing, music and teaching are my outlets for testing my learning and ideas.

I think this is because I appreciate the power of perspective. Shakespeare's Hamlet muses "there is nothing either good nor bad, but thinking makes it so."  I tend to agree.

Q. Philosophy?
A: I have a slogan attached to my blog: "Slow to judge, quick to suppose. Truth and alternatives I'm keen to expose."

Q: Working on?

Q: Anything in the world?
I would connect with as many people as I could that are keen to see a fundamental shift towards a global society this planet can sustain. We all need to feel that we are part of a larger movement to be safe in risking the changes required.

Given my talents and passions, I believe I am currently working more efficiently towards this goal than ever before, and I'm super lucky to be doing it with my partner, Danton Jay.

We have produced a music album called "Decades After Paris" that connects the listener to the reality we'll face with a destabilized climate. It sounds pretty dark, but its actually really upbeat, as we explore practical solutions, as well as the conditions of hope and love, that we believe can guide us through it.
