Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world
Quote of the week:
“Open your mind, open your heart,
and the way to joy becomes clear.” - Jonathan Lockwood Huie
*** The most exciting news this week is that I have 4 jumping photos published in the September issue of LivingNow Magazine. LivingNow Magazine claims to be Australia's largest Holistic Magazine, this months issue is about opening your heart and heart connection :)
They have selected to use a jumping photo of the lovely Honeybee Henderson as the cover image... who also happens to be this weeks feature jumper. ;) Nava and Benny Cooper are jumping on page 3, Katie Shaw is jumping for joy on page 4 and Makenzie Chilton jumping for joy on page 18.
The on-line version is presently being uploaded should be up and running at the latest by September 4th, so if its not up by the time you have received this newsletter (if the link is not working it is because they are still in the middle of uploading it) just stop by a little while later and you can see all the photos and read the magazine :) in the meantime... here is a sneak peak at the cover image.. I will post more on the Jump for Joy! blog once the online version is up:
*** Please email me at: email@example.com to set up a shoot. I'm already looking forward to creating fun art with you!! :)
Featured Jumper of the week: Honeybee Henderson!
Honeybee Henderson ... From: I am a Texas girl, born and bred. Lives: I live in Venice, Ca, and I love love love living near the beach! Work: I am a healer, a spiritual guide, and the best cheer-leader in town... my work takes me all over the world.
Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: So many things make me want to jump for joy. From the simple pleasures of a beautiful fragrant rose to all the love I experience on a day to day basis. The sun, the moon, my friends and family, and of course my girl, molly dog.
Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: We had so much fun, didn't we? We spent the day on my favorite hike in all of Los Angeles. My heart overfloweth with joy and love.
Q: Why did you choose this location?
A: This is a sacred place where I go often to commune with Mother Nature. It's where I have my sit spot...the greatest tree in all the land. The trail winds and winds with loads of hidden treasures. It overlooks the ocean, and I have spent many many moments on this hike. From full moon rises to shooting star nights to sunrise stroll and full blown summer days, this is where I love to spend my time.
Q: What inspires you in life?
A: Life inspires me. People inspire me. My work inspires me.
Q: What is/are your greatest passion(s) in life?
A: My greatest passions are supporting people in opening their hearts. I love love. I love when people find the love that lives inside of their heart. I love when people realize that they are not the story that they portray, but something deeper...a blessed child of the universe, capable of anything and everything. To bear witness to someone's breakthrough gives me high hopes for the future of our planet and human kind.
Q: What is your driving force in life?
Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: Love, Serve, Remember (just like my guru, Baba Neem Karoli says). This life is about helping each other to remember who we truly are.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: I am living the most fabulous life ever. All of my dreams are becoming realized, and my heart is full. I take each day, each moment, each breath and relish them. I am so grateful that I chose to be alive at this time. Life is GREAT!
Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: My work is my life. Soul Diving is what I do for myself and my clients. I am a healer, a spiritual guide, and the best cheer-leader in town. I am so grateful that I get to spend my life helping people. You can best find me and some sweet tips on how to live a more fulfilled life at www.facebook.com/souldiving
Q. Interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I am a yogini, a teacher, a student, a philosopher, a lover, a friend, a daughter, a sister, an aunt. I carry a Master's Degree in Spiritual Psychology and I will always be learning something new. Life is full of surprises, and I enjoy the journey to the fullest. All of that and I love my parents very much. Thanks mom and dad for bringing me into the world for the most fabulous life!
All the gorgeous jumping photos of Honeybee were taken in Topanga Canyon in California.
