Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

Quote of the week:

“...we can change ourselves and feel free as birds. We can be serene even in the midst of calamities and, by our serenity, make others more tranquil. Serenity is contagious. If we smile at someone, he or she will smile back. And a smile costs nothing. We should plague everyone with joy. If we are to die in a minute, why not die happily, laughing?” - Swami Satchidananda

DEBORAH LOW RICHARDS  ... From: Vancouver born and raised Lives: North Vancouver Works: I'm a Mom... and I work part-time at a great, little health food store.

Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: I knew getting 'up in the air' would be fun!

Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: You simply cannot be a grump when you jump. Seriously... I challenge you to try.

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: Learning! Health, music, nature, love...

Q: What is your greatest passion in life?
A: Exposing myself to anything that uncovers my blindspots to knowing myself better. Travelling is good for that, all of my relationships do it too.

Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: Everyday my children get me out of bed, literally and metaphorically.

Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: “The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love, and be loved in return.” - Nature Boy – Nat King Cole

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: Be here right now... To really be in the present, in every moment. To find enlightenment, whatever that may mean. It's sounds like a 'yeah, yeah' but I work on it every day and in the moments I am truly present, without judgement, I feel grace.

Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: I am my own project and I support myself fully.

All the photos of Deborah were taken in North Vancouver, BC Canada. Like Jump for Joy! Featuring Deborah Low Richards on Facebook
