Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

“An amazing thing happens when you get honest with yourself and start doing what you love, what makes you happy. Your life literally slows down. You stop wishing for the weekend. You stop merely looking forward to special events. You begin to live in each moment and you start feeling like a human being. You just ride the wave that is life, with this feeling of contentment and joy. You move fluidly, steadily, calm and grateful. A veil is lifted, and a whole new perspective is born.” - via dailylovedose

And now, the fabulous featured jumper of the week (and fellow Notable awards nominee :)

Like many people in BC I was born in Ontario but moved to BC and grew up in Summerland, BC. Vancouver has been home to me for over 13 years now.

Works: I work for Shaw TV co-hosting a show called
Dream Homes where we tour luxury properties around Western Canada. We have a ton of fun meeting owners, realtors, interior designers and so many great people who are proud to show off their homes.

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
It’s so easy to get caught up in the daily stresses of life. Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to have a roof over our heads, access to clean water and the ability to be free and do what we want in Canada. Sometimes if I’m having a bad day I’ll turn on my tap and remember that life could be a lot worse and we have a lot to be joyful for.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
I had a lot of fun jumping for joy! I’m used to being strange in public places and getting weird looks so it wasn’t anything new for me to have people wonder what we’re doing. I was warned I might be a bit sore the next day and I definitely felt all that jumping!

Q: What inspires you in life?
I’m lucky to be surrounded by amazing people that inspire me every day. My mother, my wife, my daughter, my colleagues, my friends and many more! I’m fortunate to have a lot of inspirational people around me. That and money, I like having money to buy things and pay my bills.

Q: Your greatest passion?
I think my greatest passion is making people smile and laugh. I might not be the funniest guy in the world but I’ll sure try to make people laugh, even if it means making dad jokes and striking out most of the time.

Q: Your driving force?
Since having my daughter Elise she is my driving force. I want to show her she can do anything she wants and be happy and successful while doing it.

Q: Philosophy?
Every day is a new day. You might have a crappy day where everything goes wrong but thankfully if we’re lucky enough to wake up again the next day, we can do it all over again and try again.

Q: Anything in the world?
I feel so fortunate that I’m very happy in my career and personal life and getting closer to all my personal goals every day. If I could add in something it would be more traveling.

Q. Working on?
I’m working with my incredible team to finish season 3 of Dream Homes which will air into early 2015. I’m also excited to be working on another new TV project that is launching in 2015 as well but I can’t give a ton of details as we’re still in development!

Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: You can probably tell by my photo but I’m not a large man. In fact I was 24 inches when I was born so I have less than tripled in height since the day I was born. My mom reminds me to this day that I literally broke her tailbone when I was born, I guess you can say I’ve been a pain in her ass since day one.
