Quote of the week:
“Do what you love… Do what you’re passionate about, do what excites you right now. Create something amazing. Pour yourself energetically into a project. Build something new. And what you think you’re creating might turn out to be completely different from what emerges, but you’ll have fun doing it and something even better might be revealed.” – Leo Babauta

Featured Jumper of the week: ALIYAH O'BRIEN!
ALIYAH O'BRIEN ... From: Originally from Victoria, BC Canada Lives: Vancouver Work: Actor in Vancouver, Toronto and soon LA.
Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: When I think about how rad my life is!!! For real, I can hardly contain it sometimes. I have the best family, partner, friends, home and job.
Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos?
A: AMAZING!!! Firstly, Eyoalha is so fun how could I not have a blast. I am super kinaesthetic so when the focus of a shoot is jumping and JOY it is impossible to not be bursting with positivity…and silliness. I am most comfortable when I can be silly ;)
Q: What inspires you in life?
A:Courageous people. Compassion. Vulnerability.
Q: What is/are your greatest passion in life?
A: I love my job! Being an actor is such a medley of challenge, empathy, self exploration, psychology and play…I love all that stuff. I'm huge on personal growth and busting through fears and helping others do the same... And I kind of would be lying if I said I didn't love food ;)
Q: What is your driving force in life?
A: Good question…I would have to say purpose. It's a deep rooted feeling that my life is meant to be more than just "she came she went"…I feel like if I can inspire people to be more joyful, more positive, more loving and more connected to each other then I can look back on my life and feel proud and rest peacefully.
Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: Play Full Out! As much as I wish I could say I live this completely, I am still learning and busting through my fear gremlins.
Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: Anything??? I'm pretty pumped to say that I am actively working towards my dream which is writing, producing and acting in thought provoking, compassion inspiring, amazing film and television. And being an awesome mom, one day. (haven't started that project yet ;)
And most importantly doing all of this and anything I do from a place of connectedness and joy. My challenge is being sure to jump off the hamster wheel and enjoy the view.
Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: I have a really fun recurring role on the TV series Rookie Blue on ABC and Global. And a recurring role on the new gritty TV series Bates Motel that will show on A&E. I'm also in the process of writing a script which is new and fun for me. My website is under construction at the moment aliyahobrien.com.
Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I am a huge hugger. Even when it's not appropriate…I just can' t help myself... and I can do a pretty kick ass air guitar…just saying' ;)
Photos of Aliyah were taken at English Bay Beach in the West End of Vancouver, BC Canada.
