Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

“When you are joyful, when you say yes to life and have fun and project positivity all around you, you become a sun in the center of every constellation...” - Shannon L. Alder

The fabulous featured jumper this week is:

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: Life! It's so amazing! I am so blessed and so grateful to be able to lead the life I live. The trails are my place of joy. They're my second home... it feels as though I step into a whole other world that I can't wait to explore. There's a certain sense of peacefulness when I'm out there.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
My cheeks hurt from laughing and my heart is full. It was an absolute blast to share that experience with Eyoalha. The energy was contagious and so much fun. We just clicked with each other and had the best time. I couldn't stop laughing!

Q: What inspires you in life?

A: My friends. They're amazing. Each one of them plays a different role in my life and they all come together perfectly. They are amazing, loving, gifted, unique individuals that all play a significant role in my life. They're dreams and goal crushers and each day they inspire me to be better.
Q: Your greatest passion?
A: My passions are giving back to the community, spending as much time as I can with my friends and running the trails of the North Shore. I have learnt so much about myself as a person on the trails. Giving back is what makes me the happiest whether that be volunteering at a race or being a family volunteer at Canuck Place Children's Hospice.

Q: Your driving force?
To constantly push myself physically and mentally. Training and running for an ultra has shaped me into who I am. An ultra has this ability to break you down until you're completely raw and it's up to you to pull strength from that to pick yourself up again. I'm always amazing at what our bodies and minds are capable of doing. The driving force is to keep pushing, keep striving, and keep going even when it gets tough.

Q: Philosophy?
Passion changes everything.

Q: Anything in the world?
I would climb mountains and run down them every day if I could, bring my friends along and explore as much as humanely possible.

Mini Bio:
Born and raised in beautiful Vancouver, youngest of 3 to a big family. I'm an energetic, outgoing, bubbly, attentive generous person with a big heart. I'm happiest on the trails or near the water. When I'm not running through mountains I'm with my friends, family, nice, nephew, and godson or giving back to my community where needed. I strive for constant growth to become a better me all while embracing life and staying positive. Biggest lessons learned so far is that happiness is a choice and to embrace life and it's little moments.
