Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

"A deep and rich life consists of a full artistic array of different aspects of living, we must constantly strive for. We must learn the art of finding peace and tapping the creative mind, but we also need to courageously move forward which requires that we face our fears. We must learn to live in the present, but also not mortgage our future by poor choices in the moment. We should not handicap ourselves with guilt and regret from the past but at the same time we should also review the past in order to learn from our mistakes, failures and successes. We should give of ourselves through service to others but we must also learn to not sacrifice our own individualism while doing so." - Troy, Flourishing Flourishing Life Society

Featured jumper of the week: JULIEN FRUCHIERLike Jump for Joy! Featuring Julien Fruchier on Facebook

From: I'm French and Spanish descent, born in Mexico and a lifetime Vancouverite mutt.
Lives: Vancouver.
Work: My company makes it easy for the most conscious, forward-thinking and good citizens of Vancouver to vote with their dollars. We connect them to extraordinary restaurants, activities and shops that support community, care about the environment, promote health and contribute to the local economy.

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
A: I'm not inspired as much as I feel compelled to do so by the little kid inside me.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A: Awesome fun! What's not to like about playing hooky on a rainy day, meeting up with a lovely stranger and going jumping for joy in front of a bunch of stiff suits coming out of a conference?

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: I can find inspiration in almost anyone and anything most of the time. Finding inspiration is a function of having a positive attitude and viewing people and situations through a positive perspective.

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. I like speed. I like building companies. I'm fascinated by human behavior. I love the creative process of building something from nothing... of taking an idea, bringing the right people together and making it come to life. I'm passionate about health. And most of all, I get turned on about the prospect of helping solve big hairy problems and being of service to humanity; of making a positive contribution.

Q: Your driving force?
A:  Wonder and gut. I have no idea why. I just know it's been there all my life. One is the fire. The other the compass.

Q: Your philosophy?
A: After much pondering through the years, I've come to understand that life for me boils down to the only two things we can truly control and guide: attitude and perspective. Everything else is secondary.

Q: What are you working on?
A: I'm building a company with the potential to make a huge positive difference in the world. We North Americans make up 5% of the world's population and create 25% of the world's waste. We're making a mess of things. And while 55% of us are concerned about things like climate change, poverty, pollution, homelessness, health etc and want to do something about it... we do nothing. Zero. So, I'm taking it upon myself to help people do their bit and in doing so, to lighten our collective footprint. It's a crazy goal tackling a big hairy problem... buy hey, why not?!?!
LIFE: Vancouver is my art and my offspring.

Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I'm just one in seven billion enjoying the ride in this funky trip we call life.
