Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

"What I think is that a good life is one hero journey after another. Over and over again, you are called to the realm of adventure, you are called to new horizons. Each time, there is the same problem: do I dare? And then if you do dare, the dangers are there, and the help also, and the fulfillment or the fiasco. There's always the possibility of a fiasco. But there's also the possibility of bliss." - Joseph Campbell

Featured jumper of the week: DENNYS ILICLike Jump for Joy! Featuring Ilic Dennys on Facebook

From: Originate from Melbourne Australia.
Live: Currently live Globally.
Work: Work as Editorial Portrait Photographer.

Q: What inspires you to jump for joy?
My love of life and people, good people who seem to be all around me these days!

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A: It was interesting on a number of levels. Firstly, I have never gone out with a photographer with the intention of having myself photographed. So the process of premeditatedly being in front of the lens was very odd for me and a little uncomfortable. But the principle behind the shoot and the infectious joy and charm of Eyoälha made it so uplifting and so much fun I was left feeling.... light :) Its also very interesting as a photographer collaborating with another photographer on images of oneself!

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: Art. The kindness and gentleness of others. Young people that are inspired by me, with a zest for life and the desire to learn and work hard that are not misguided and complacent as I was at their age :)

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: Photography, films and great coffee. Today anyone can do these things with the help of a good coffee and create something that can change the world and the way we see it.

Q: Your driving force?
A: To leave some kind of impression of good in the world, however small and help others do the same.

Q: Your philosophy?
A: No matter where you go, there you are ... make the most of it! (half stolen from BuckerooBanzai :)

Q: Anything in the world?
A: Build a creative space where people can come and go as they please, to contribute or take inspiration. I am working on making this happen because we are a product of our surroundings and no matter how young or old you are, you can help and inspire greatness in others.

Q: What are you working on?
A: Currently working on my second book which will be a collection of portraits of male genre actors. Some of these images can be found at

Q: Mini bio, interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: I worked in retail and purchased my first stills camera in 2002 when I decided to try my hand at becoming a photographer. Anyone can be what they want to be with passion and focus!

Photos of Dennys were taken in Deep Cove, BC Canada.
