Quote of the week:
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” – Walt Disney

Latest Updates:
*** I love my project! I am inspired and excited everyday to create and express joy and share my experince with the increable people who come into my life. Thank you for creating joy, co-creating art, jumping for joy and playing with me :)
*** My first week in Vancouver has been amazing! I love how creative people are becoming for the jump shoots. It has been so inspiring to co-create with everyone, the more people creativly express themselves into the shots the more interesting the shots become. In one week I have had the pleasure of doing some incredible jump photo shoots with Tareneh and Adam King, Makenzie Chilton, Sarah Edmondson, Zen Shane Lim, Michelle Cote aka Ms. Mercury, and Fresh and Ahmad who will all be featured in upcoming newsletters so stay posted for a peek into the interesting lives of some more creative and innovative individuals. I have also captured a couple of spontaneous shots of Michael,, Alicia, Reece, Nolen, Elena, Natasha, Fin and Daniel.

*** I am also very pleased to share that my project was profiled on Small Group of Thoughtful People as well as selected for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award feels great to be loved :)

*** I still have space for more jumping shoots in Vancouver, please email me at: to set up a shoot. I'm already looking forward to creating fun art with you!! :)

Featured Jumper of the week: Laurel L. Lewis!

Laurel L. Lewis ... From: I'm from Mississippi! Lives: Santa Monica, CA Work: I'm an RN and spiritual counselor at Hospice Partners of Southern California.

Q: What inspires you to want to jump for joy?
A: I'm inspired lately by the flow of life pulsing through me. Sometimes I sense my constriction around it and sometimes I feel completely open and free. When I feel open and clear, less me and more LIFE, that inspires me to jump.

Q.What was your experience like doing the jumping photos? How did you feel?
A: I felt creative, supported, free, playful, inspired, connected. I loved the different venues, especially the graveyard. I really enjoyed what was captured in those photos.

Q: What inspires you in life?
A: Transparency, authenticity, courage, willingness, vulnerability, movement, and kindness.

Q: What is/are your greatest passion(s) in life?
A: My passion is bringing peace, grace, compassion, and wisdom to those facing end of life issues. I have a comfort with death and dying that not many do and I feel compelled to be of service to those dealing with this inevitable part of life.

Q: What is your driving force in life?
A:  I imagine it has a lot to do with becoming widowed very suddenly at the age of 27. This experience has shaped the last 15 years of my life. Facing death cracked me wide open to some deeper meaning of life and to myself. I understand the interconnectedness of life and how precious each moment, each relationship, each breath is. I am fascinated with the mysteries of death because they inform my Life.

Q: What is your philosophy in life?
A: "Life is short... be swift to love, make haste to be kind" Henri Amiel

Q: If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?
A: I am working on a massive end of life project with a very dear friend of mine. This is a completely service oriented project. I am totally inspired by it and yet it is very "doing" focused. I strive for more balance right now which was why jumping with you was so important to me and timely. I intend to dance more, to play more, to sing more!

Q: What work/art/projects are you working on?
A: I am currently working on my personal webpage, but until then you can find one of my projects on Facebook @ "Death and Dying Dinner Parties"

Q: Interesting facts about you or something special you want to share.
A: What I would like to say is how happy I am to know such a beautiful creative Soul as Eyoalha! JUMP with her as soon as you can! It's a tremendous experience! Light ahead to this amazing project.

My favorite answer from the
Joy! page this week is from a fellow blogger called the usual bliss who shared:
"My husband-to-be waking me up every morning with a fresh cup of hot coffee!" A great way to start the morning before jumping out of bed ;)

I am excited to do more jumping shoots in Vancouver, please email me at: to set up a shoot with me, if you are interested in shoots or have feedback and suggestions about the project.. I would love to hear from you.
