CALL FOR PAPERS: We are inviting abstracts for papers and workshops for the next DCDC15 Conference, to be held at The Lowry, Salford Quays on 12-14 October 2015.

Member news

  • Congratulations to Jeremy Upton, who has been appointed as the new Director of Library and University Collections at the University of Edinburgh. Jeremy will take up his new post on 13 April.
     
  • RLUK wishes a fond farewell to Martin Lewis who is retiring from his role as Director of Library Services and University Librarian at the University of Sheffield this month. Martin was always very generous with this time for the community and was involved in a wide range of activities, including serving on the RLUK Board from 2004 to 2010. Martin will be succeeded by Anne Horn, formerly of Deakin University in Australia. We look forward to welcoming Anne to RLUK at our Members' Meeting next week.
     
  • The University of Glasgow's Ingenious Impressions exhibition and an interview with John Scally, Chief Executive of the National Library of Scotland, were featured on the BBC's Scotland 2015 programme Watch on iPlayer - starts at 13:00).
     
  • Cardiff University Library is seeking an experienced Rare Books Cataloguing Librarian. The role is full time, open ended and available immediately. More info.
     
  • Library Digital Services Manager vacancy at SOAS Library. More info.
