It is with great excitement that we can confirm that the SCAS Board has approved the renovations of ‘Die Eland’ campsite with certain provisions. More about that in future communications.
In the previous SCAS update we asked you to support the Global Day of Giving on Tuesday 28 November. The plan was to phone around as part of our annual telethon but as we prayed about it, we decided to trust the Lord to send the right donors and not ask for money. We are still going to phone, but with the purpose to find out how we can help or support you. In other words, we want to do the giving on Giving Tuesday.
The Lord has showed us in various ways that SCAS needs to restore. For us it entails the restoration of `Die Eiland‘  campsite and more importantly, restoration of relationships - of our relationship with God, ourselves, each other and the rest of creation.
We want to walk in obedience to this call. Please pray with us as we seek to obey our Lord in this process because Jesus Christ is worthy of it all.
If your telephone number is on our database, you can expect a phone call from us on 28 November 2017 – to find out how we can serve you, what we can pray for, and how you would like us to communicate with you. If you prefer not to receve a call, please reply to this e-mail with `No call‘ in the subject line.
With serving love
The SCAS Team.
