This is the 94th of weekly progress updates on the development of Simply Testable, your professional automated web frontend testing service providing one-click testing for your entire site.
Mobile-Ready Test Dashboard
In last week's newsletter I mentioned that work had started on making the test dashboard ready for mobile devices and that I'd like to have the changes ready in time for this newsletter.
The changes were released live a little earlier today.
Further dashboard improvements:
- More clear 'new test' form: the types of test to carry out are clearly shown, no longer do you need to dig around to find or change them
- Simpler recent tests: both currently-running and recently-finished tests are presented in a single list; the previous two lists was unnecessarily complex
Mobile-Ready Everything Else
Once the dashboard changes were complete I updated all other remaining pages to be mobile ready.
In this in case, "all other remaining pages" were the error pages you might encounter if something goes horribly wrong when trying to view a page. Hopefully you'll never get to see such a page!
I will over the next few weeks focus mostly on marketing. I need to put together a drip campaign for new account holders and I need to examine how to better convert users who encounter limitations of the free demo.
As always, if you'd like to see web testing you find boring handled automatically for you, add a suggestion or vote up those that interest you. This really helps.
