Mobile-ready (and improved) task results
Work has continued this week on moving to Bootstrap 3 in an effort to offer a more usable mobile experience. As with pages that have undergone this change, I'm clarifying and simplifying as I go along.
Early this week saw the release of these changes for the task results page. That's the page you reach when viewing the results for an individual task carried out against an individual URL.
Changes and improvements:
Although task results pages are now a piece of cake to use on a mobile device, you still have to work your way through the test results page to get to them. The next set of changes will address this.
- now easy to view task results on mobile devices, tablets and computers
- summary error and warning counts as less large but hopefully just as clear
- issue sections (list of errors, list of warnings, list of fixes) are collapsible
I'll continue to update the Simply Testable services to be more friendly to vastly differing screen sizes and will continue to help make it more clear when account-only features are an option.
As always, if you'd like to see web testing you find boring handled automatically for you, add a suggestion or vote up those that interest you. This really helps.
