Multiethnic Kingdom of God
God’s heart has always been to bring together people from every ethnicity and people group into one Kingdom community who love him and show the world what he is like. Join us for this series as we look at God’s multiethnic kingdom vision and are challenged and inspired to join him in this..
Ways to engage this series:
Join us Sunday morning January 9th as we talk about the Foundation of Prayer for the unity of the church. This will lay the foundation for us to dive into The Multiethnic Kingdom of God on January 16th.
Download the Reflection Guide for your own personal reflection or with your small group.
Join a short term discussion group. We will have an in person group beginning on January 16th at 10:30am in the Commons and a Zoom group beginning on January 16th at 7:30pm. Both will continue on Sundays throughout the series. Visit this link to sign up for either group or email firstname.lastname@example.org.

Baptism & Recommitment
On February 2nd Hillcrest Church will be baptizing believers and anointing for recommitment. If you have not been baptized, we encourage you to take this next step to public and physical identification with Jesus. If you have been baptized and want to recommit yourself to that journey, we are ready to help seal that decision with you. Please contact email@example.com.
Why be baptized?
Jesus both demonstrated it and asked for it - Matthew 3:13 and 28:18.
It powerfully captures and concretizes our restored identity with God by the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our bodies and material things matter in our faith. We act out and live what is true.
We are not on this journey alone. Baptism connects us to the unbroken life of the Christian Church and hundreds of millions of Christians over 2000 years!
Hillcrest will be having child dedications at both services on Sunday, February 13th.
If you would like to have your child dedicated, click here to fill out the registration form.
Are you new (or relatively new) to Hillcrest? Are you wondering who these people are, why they do what they do, how they do it?
Our Newcomer Gatherings are the place for you to check us out! Coming Jan 23rd and Feb 27 (you pick which fits your schedule) at 12:30 in The Commons Room at Hillcrest.
You'll meet most of our pastoral staff, hear a little of our history, our current "working on", and hear our heart for the future of Hillcrest Church. If you would like to know more about Hillcrest before you decide it's your worship community, if you have questions about what we believe or if you'd just like to get to know some other new folks around here...we hope you join us for one of these half hour information gatherings.
Questions? contact Kathy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
