UCM Update MeetingThe council invites you to join us as we make some important decisions for our college ministry at 7pm Wednesday, May 25, at an all member meeting. | Hope for the Journey ConferenceHillcrest’s Hope Restored for Foster and Adoptive Families is offering a one day Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) training for foster/adoptive parents and those that work with children from “hard places.” This training will help you gain a better understanding of the child’s complex needs along with resources to equip you in your walk with them. Join us at Hillcrest on May 21st from 9am-4pm. $20 to register (foster/adoptive parents are free but still need to register). A box lunch, snacks and a 6 hour training certificate will be provided. Grab ‘n Go Lunch - Proceeds to Welcome RefugeesOn Sunday, May 22, the Hillcrest Refugee Action Team is putting on a curry bowl ‘to go'‘ lunch at Hillcrest after both services. People will have a chance to grab a delicious curry and rice bowl lunch to go, for a minimum of $7 donation (less if you are buying a few). Proceeds will help raise funds for World Relief Western Washington’s new refugee services agency in Whatcom County. |

Stay as long as you can...Bend a knee and humble your heart before the King of Glory, the Lord God Strong and Mighty in Battle. Can't come on Wednesday? Then please do this between 11 and 2: park the car for five minutes, close the office door, let the kids play quietly for a few minutes, and join in prayer for family, church, the nation and the harvest. |

Camp Prep Day - Helpers NeededTeen Reach Adventure Camp (TRAC), the follow-up program to Royal Family KIDS, for abused and neglected foster youth, ages 12-15, is having a campsite prep day on Saturday, June 11th from 9am-12:30pm. Host SICM StudentsFor over 25 years SICM has been equipping students to make a real, lasting impact on their college campuses. These students come from all over the country to spend an intensive week learning how to be ministry leaders on their campuses.
