Send an email directly to the Premier of NSW Mike Baird right now.

The NSW Government is currently reviewing the conservation management of the waters around Sydney. One of the things they are looking at is whether anglers should be locked out of up to 59 popular recreational fishing areas.

Let the Premier know that like you, 100% of anglers in Sydney love the ocean and our marine environment.

Let the Premier know that like you, 100% of anglers are opposed to meaningless lock outs from their favourite fishing spots.

Let the Premier know:
  • Anglers support the Premier in trying to stop water pollution and habitat degradation to protect the marine environment.
  • Anglers support the Premier in keeping our easily accessible and safe fishing spots like Chowder Bay, Bare Island, Long Reef and Clifton Gardens open for young, old or disabled anglers.
  • Anglers support the Premier in demanding his Ministers provide more robust and current science to support any new management recommendations.
  • Anglers support the Premier in declaring Sydney Harbour a Recreational Fishing Haven. With almost 70% of the Harbour already a de facto sanctuary zone due to various restrictions, this makes sense.
