Abraham Path Initiative proudly launches new online guidebook.
The new abrahampath.org provides free access to detailed information about more than 1000 km of walking trails in the Middle East and over a hundred unique communities along the way.
You can now explore the website’s rich content detailing the unique history and beauty of the region, experience stories about local communities, and easily prepare for your trip by downloading high-resolution maps, GPS tracks, accommodation contact lists, and transportation instructions. It’s also a great way to connect with local tour providers to learn about their trips or even build a custom itinerary based on your unique interests.
The new website design focuses on intuitive design and eye caching pictures of spots along the path.
We are confident that this online guidebook is now the most comprehensive resource available for those who wish to explore the Middle East on foot. It is the culmination of years of hard work by the Abraham Path team and partners, and we are excited to see it enable easier access to the path and support local communities.
Please take some time to explore the site and let us know what you think. Sign up for our newsletter or follow us on social media to hear about new developments, stories along the path, or opportunities to get involved; and of course, we hope to see you out walking.
Step by step,
Photo galleries are a great new feature on the website. Check out our latest blog post to see entries submitted to a photography competition held by Al Najah University on the Abraham Path!
