Help WellSpring Cool Down!

Air-conditioning fund

WellSpring is hot and bothered!! We need a breath of cool air.

Those of us who use the Resource Room in summer know how hot and uncomfortable it becomes. So let’s raise some money to install air-conditioning before the heat hits again, and especially before our Major Event in February 2015!

Donations welcome through our website or contact us for other ways to pay.

We aim to raise $5,000 to help cool things down!

SATURDAY SEMINAR:
Dying Well: Living Until We Die
(Facilitators: Heather Tan and Graeme Garrett)
Saturday 26 July 2014, 10am to 4pm

Dying is part of life, but it is sometimes hard to talk about. Perhaps even more challenging is to walk alongside those who are nearing the end of life as pastor, chaplain, spiritual director, pastoral carer, family or friend.

This seminar is for everyone but particularly those working alongside people who are dying and their families. It will be conversational with time and space for personal and group reflection.

Come and enjoy the beautiful WellSpring facility, gathering around an open fire to encourage each other in embracing both living and dying. There will be space during the day to enjoy the winter garden, prayer rooms and chapel as we are led by Heather Tan and Graeme Garrett throughout the seminar.

Certificates of attendance will be available for those who wish to record this seminar as professional development.

Morning tea and lunch provided.
Cost: $75 ($67.50 for WellSpring members).

ETHICAL WILLS
Thursday 28 August, 10am to 12noon

Ethical wills are a way to share your love with family and close friends. Think of an ethical will as a heartfelt letter describing what truly matters most in your life. An ethical will passes on life lessons, values, advice, joys, prayers, hopes and dreams for present and future generations.

Discussion to be led by Julie Robinson.

All welcome!

Cost: $10 (please pay on the day)
We will provide coffee, cake and venue; you provide the conversation!
