New and changed WellSpring programs
We are pleased to announce the following new programs, to take place later this year.
Celtic Spirituality (Facilitator: Cath Connelly)
Drawing on connections to nature, a passion for learning, prayer, soul friends, music, art, poetry and pilgrimage, Celtic spirituality offers a deeply engaging way of relating to God. Cath Connelly will lead us in an exploration of the major themes of this form of spirituality, in reflective, experiential and informative ways. The day will include harp music, meditation, input sessions and time for personal reflection.

Saturday 25 May, 10 am to 3 pm (BYO lunch)
Drumming Day (Facilitator: Christina Green)
A repeat of the popular Drumming Day facilitated by Christina Green in February, will be held this November.
We will begin with a short meditation and then learn drumming and chanting. We will use both frame drums (Native American style) and hand drums (djembe, etc.). The chants are sourced from Jewish, Celtic and Native American spirituality.

Eco-Theology and Eco-Spirituality workshops (Facilitator to be confirmed)
Due to ill health, we regret that Robin Pryor will be unable to facilitate these scheduled workshops in April.

This course is available for academic credit through the MCD University of Divinity, or you can audit it through WellSpring.
This unit explores the relationship between the spiritual aspects of our lives and our identities. The unit will draw on a personality mapping system – the Enneagram - to identify how it provides pointers to our spiritual awareness in areas including: self identity, personal development, prayer and the ways people experience God, discern life goals, engage in work and ministry. Students will be invited to reflect on their own personality frameworks and the impact these have on their developing awareness of self, God and the world in their everyday life experiences.
Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 April
Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 May
Course cost: $850 (auditing cost; i.e. for non-MCD-UD students)
Contemplative Retreat by the Sea:

Friday 15-19 October 2013
WellSpring is pleased to announce a fourth silent retreat for 2013.
This silent retreat is for those desiring to pause from busyness, to rest, and simply 'be.' In a contemplative supportive space containing morning and evening prayer and spiritual direction, there will be opportunity to listen and respond to the presence of God.
It will be facilitated by Geraldine Bachowski and will take place at Santa Casa, Queenscliff.
Indications of interest and deposits are being accepted now through our online booking form. Please note that payment by instalments may be negotiated - contact Monique for more details.
Please also refer to Ann's Director's newsletter for information about how you might like to consider helping others to attend this or other retreats, who may not be able to attend otherwise.
