Spring is coming to WellSpring!

A Message from the WellSpring Director

Here's a Spring thought from Leunig to warm our Winter hearts.

Dear God,

We rejoice and give thanks for earthworms,
bees, ladybirds and broody hens;
for humans tending their gardens, talking to animals,
cleaning their homes and singing to themselves;
for rising of the sap, the fragrance of growth,
the invention of the wheelbarrow and the existence of the teapot,
we give thanks. We celebrate and give thanks.

Amen.

We've added some events to the WellSpring program to help us welcome the coming of Spring, with its promise of new growth and life.

These are listed below, alongside our existing events.

Rejoicing, giving thanks, tending, talking, cleaning, singing, rising, growing, inventing and sharing with each other over a teapot ... great ways to celebrate Spring!

Introduction to the Journey of Illumination

A small group for men
Wednesday 5 and 19 August; 2, 16 and 30 September
7.30 to 9.30pm in the Resource Room

A $5 donation for each session is suggested.

Facilitated by Andy Stevens, who facilitates men’s spirituality groups, helping men to navigate toward transformation and wholeness.

This group will explore spirituality from a different perspective.  It is not a typical 'cell' group for men where scripture is studied and solutions to life’s challenges are discussed. This is primarily a place where the soul not the mind takes centre stage.

Email Ann Lock for more information, and/or to indicate attendance.
