Launching a new interactive WellSpring website!

Dear <<First Name>> <<Last Name>>,

To help welcome you to 2017, WellSpring is proud to launch a new website!

We have been working hard on setting this up behind the scenes for some time, and are thrilled to now let you know about it!

Click here to view the new site!

(NB: If you find your web browser is still displaying the old brown site, just 'refresh' your web browser once or twice by pressing the 'Ctrl' and 'R;' keys together on a PC or the 'Command' and 'R' keys together on a Mac)

A new design

The new look of the website features the artwork of Liz Johnson (www.lizjohnsonart.co), a local artist and long-term WellSpring member.

We are grateful to Liz for granting us permission to use her beautiful paintings in the 2017 program, newsletters and other WellSpring advertising.

A new interactive experience

One of the biggest changes to the website is the move to it being more interactive for those who visit it. The scope of what the site can do will only increase over time.

Whilst you are still free to browse the website without logging in, each person on our mailing list has now been given a unique login.

Your unique login allows you to:
  • choose/change your own unique password for security purposes
  • update your own contact details if and as they change
  • subscribe or unsubscribe from different WellSpring eNewsletters with ease
  • access password-protected pages specific to your individual roles within WellSpring (e.g. as a WellSpring member, Spiritual Director, WellSpring volunteer, WellSpring university student, or Board member)

Since you are receiving this email, you have already been automatically registered for the new system.

The first thing you need to do is set your own password.
  1. Click here
  2. Type your already registered email address into the box
(NB: your registered email address is <<Email Address>>). Please ensure you don't include any extra spaces around the email address.
  3. Click on the 'Get new password' button
  4. You will then be sent an email containing a unique link. Click on this link in this email to set your password.

Once you've set your password, you can log in to the site at any time by visiting the login page.

There is also a login box at the bottom of the left-hand sidebar on each page of the website.

This login box will only display if you are not logged in; otherwise, you will see the following words:
You are currently logged in as <<Email Address>>. Log out »

If these words are displaying, there's nothing more you need to do to log in – you're already in!

Check or change your details

We are asking everyone to please take a couple of minutes to check their details as soon as possible.

As we've been combining information from several other databases, some details may be out of date. You will be able to update some information yourself, or let Monique know if any of the non-editable information looks incorrect.

To check or change your details at any time, simply click here (when you are logged in).

You can also subscribe or unsubscribe from different eNewsletters using this page.

New registrations

If anyone new wishes to register for the WellSpring website and/or to receive eNewsletters, they can do so here.

Different eNewsletter choices are available upon registration, and can be changed at any time in the future.

Coming soon

If you have specific roles within WellSpring (e.g. as a WellSpring member, Spiritual Director, WellSpring volunteer, WellSpring university student, or Board member), we will be contacting you soon to let you know of specific pages which you can access to view password-protected information relevant to that role.

Spiritual Directors' Professional Development Session
The Landscape of Forgiveness: Interactive, Inspiring, Illuminating
Tuesday 28 February, 10am to 3pm
Facilitator: John Steward

Author of From Generosity to Genocide (available through WellSpring bookshop)

Every person stands somewhere in a broad landscape: either desiring, needing, avoiding, struggling for, or struggling with, forgiveness. Inevitably the issue of forgiveness arises as part of the warp and woof of living. We will reflect on ways our work can support those who face the question of forgiveness.

We will first reflect on our own experience and then seek insights from stories emerging from the healing and recovery of Rwandans after the pain and chaos of 1994. Through our conversation our lives will be touched, and our work as spiritual directors impacted. We will consider what forgiveness is and isn’t, why it is so difficult at times, and what our responsibilities and opportunities are as companions on the faith journey.

Cost: $65 (full) / $55 (members/concession)
