WELLSPRING REFLECTIONS

This month our reflection is from Julie Ellerton, a Level 3 student in the Art of Spiritual Direction.

Thank you, Julie, for your beautiful photos and words, which invite others to share the gift of creation!

– Ann Lock
WellSpring Director

Julie Ellerton reflects:

At Cape Otway I came across a 70 year old plantation of very tall, straight Californian Redwood trees.

Silence reigned among these giants as I looked upward towards the treetops.

I was filled with awe and wonder. It was like looking upward in a cathedral. There was a palpable, sacred feel to it. I felt strongly drawn up and transported, but at the same time, small and insignificant.
