  • Faculty Senate: At the Faculty Senate meeting on Thursday, March 11, senators will hear reports on contemporary issues facing college sports and on the new climate and sustainability school. The meeting will begin at 3:15 p.m. via Zoom. Discussion is limited to members of the senate, but members of the Stanford community who wish to observe the meeting may contact Adrienne Emory at
  • AOERC reopening indoor operations: The Arrillaga Outdoor Education and Recreation Center reopened at 10 percent capacity starting March 9. The Fitness Center reopens today Wednesday, March 10. Eligible Stanford affiliates can make a reservation at the Climbing Wall and Fitness Center. Learn more.
  • Student awards: Do you know a senior or graduate student who deserves to be recognized for contributions to the university? The Stanford Alumni Association invites faculty and staff to nominate outstanding seniors and graduate students for the 2021 J.E. Wallace Sterling Award, Award of Excellence and Graduate Student Community Impact Award. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. March 31. Learn more.
