The new Stanford Hospital opens

About 200 patients from the existing hospital were moved into their rooms at the new Stanford Hospital Sunday. The new hospital was built to accommodate the most advanced medical technology, increase capacity for patients and meet California's stringent seismic safety standards. Read more.

Injection stops peanut allergy

One injection of an antibody treatment let people with severe peanut allergy eat a nut's worth of peanut protein two weeks later, a pilot study showed.
