  • COVID-19 Study Directory: Stanford Medicine researchers and scientists have launched dozens of research projects as part of the global response to COVID-19. Some aim to prevent, diagnose and treat the disease; others aim to understand how it spreads and how people’s immune systems respond to it. By participating in COVID-19 clinical research, participants accelerate medical science by providing insights into treatments and prevention. Learn more about connecting with COVID-19 studies.
  • Conversation with Bill Gates: The Stanford community is invited to attend a free livestream conversation with Bill Gates, Microsoft founder turned philanthropist, who will be talking about his new book, How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need. Stanford students are invited to submit questions to Gates in advance of the event. The Zoom event will take place from 3:30-4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18. Gates will be joined by President Marc Tessier-Lavigne and Arun Majumdar, the Jay Precourt Provostial Chair Professor. To register and submit questions, visit the event webpage.
