Continuing challenges to the Bay Area

President Marc Tessier-Lavigne has written to members of the Stanford community to update them about continuing challenges posed by wildfires, poor air quality, unpredictable weather and the power grid. The university has reached out to more than 1,000 employees who are either in or near affected wildfire areas.
