Herbert Lindenberger has died

Herbert "Herbie" Lindenberger, the professor emeritus of English who founded the Department of Comparative Literature, died Oct. 1 at 89.

  • Update on VPTL: Vice Provost for University Libraries and the University Press Michael Keller will assume the additional role of vice provost for teaching and learning, Provost Persis Drell announced. Keller has been serving in the role on an interim basis since April. In addition, physics Professor Sarah Church will serve as senior associate vice provost for teaching and learning beginning in January. Read the announcement.
