Calling Queensland Telehealth services and business!
Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) a Queensland Statutory agency is assessing the telehealth capability of Queensland in order to determine how best to support the growth of the industry and export potential.
If you would like your telehealth service or business to be included in this survey please contact the ATHS via the contact form on the ATHS website here. With your permission we will provide your information to TIQ. They may then contact you for further information. ISfTeH and HealthEnabled to collaborate on digital health

The ISfTeH recently signed an MoU with HealthEnabled. HealthEnabled is a South Africa-based non profit organization "that helps national governments in low- and middle-income countries make short- and long-term decisions to integrate life-saving digital health solutions into their health systems."
The collaboration aims to grow the network of digital health specialists needed to achieve our shared objective, namely, to invest in, develop and use digital health to help transform and strengthen health and healthcare, particularly in low- and middle-income countries.
The MoU was signed at the occasion of the recent World Health Assembly in Geneva, by Yunkap Kwankam, Executive Director of the ISfTeH, and Peter Benjamin, Country Director for HealthEnabled. More information here.

The University of Queensland’s Centre for Online Health in conjunction with the Australasian Telehealth Society are looking forward to welcoming you to the 2017 International Conference on Successes and Failures in Telehealth (SFT-17).
SFT-17 and the 8th Annual Meeting of the Australasian Telehealth Society will be held from 30-31 October 2017 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC), Brisbane, Australia.
Please help spread the word about the SFT conference by sharing this information with your colleagues.  We hope that you will be able to share the information abut this conference with your peers and look forward to meeting you in Brisbane.

4th European Congress on eCardiology and eHealth - New deadline for abstract submission
Last chance to participate in the Call for Abstracts and become a speaker at the 4th European Congress on eCardiology and eHealth, to be held on 8-10 November 2017 in Berlin, Germany (
A selection of accepted abstracts received for the Congress will be published in the Journal of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (
Furthermore, authors of the very best abstracts received will be invited to submit a full original research paper to the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology to be published in the Journal.
