LinkedIn recently announced that the Products and Services tab will be removed from Company Pages on April 14, 2014. Here's a FAQ overview for you or someone on your team.
What does this mean for you and your LinkedIn Company Page?
You now have 2 options:
- Share product and service information as a Status update on your company page
or
- Create a Showcase Page.
What is a Showcase Page?
Showcase Pages are:
- Extensions of your Company Page
- Designed to spotlight a brand, business unit, Product, service, or initiative.
Showcase Pages:
- Highlight a product, service or brand
- Builds a dedicated community to that particular service or brand
- Let’s people follow that service or brand they are most interested in
When creating a Showcase Page, we recommend*:
- Optimizing the text throughout the page
- Posting high quality updates often (multiple times a week)
- Growing your Follower base

What are key features of a Showcase Page?
- Distinct design includes a larger hero image.
- Two-column feed design to highlight the most relevant content.
- Attract a distinct set of followers to a dedicated page.
- Deliver updates directly in the feed of your followers across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
