... TOMORROW...

The Karma Conundrum
Do We Make Our Destiny,
Or Does It Make Us?

 Chaitanya Charan
Monk, Teacher, Blogger, and Author of
The Mystery of Reincarnation

Friday, March 31 | 6pm
Princeton University
McCormick Hall, Rm. 106*

* McCormick Hall is the Art Museum Building

One of the most powerful--and yet problematic--concepts in the Hindu worldview is the idea of karma. Are we the masters of our fate or helpless victims of it? Do we have freewill or are we merely puppets in the hands of destiny? And what is the role of a loving God in what can sometimes seem like a cold and mechanistic system?

Prolific writer and teacher Chaitanya Charan faces such questions with wisdom, brilliant analysis, heartfelt practicality, and good humor. A short talk will be followed by a Q+A session, allowing for fuller exploration of this fascinating topic.

Open to all. Free admission.
