Forms now only need to be mailed once

Petitions for Redetermination were previously required to be sent to three locations

In past years, Cal Fire required forms be mailed to three locations.  However, as a result of legislation passed last year, you now only need to mail your Petition for Redetermination to Cal Fire or its designee.  Currently Cal Fire is instructing property owners to mail their petition to the agency's Suisun City processing center.

As a result of Assembly Bill 2048, taxpayers are now only required to mail Petitions for Redetermination to Cal Fire: “A petition for redetermination of the application of this chapter shall be in writing and be sent to the department or its designee.”

The address for mailing your Petition for Redetermination is as follows:
Fire Prevention Fee Service Center, Attn: Petitions, P.O. Box 2254, Suisun City, CA 94585
