The 9th Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation hosted over 400 participants from more than 50 countries attending 37 sessions, workshops and panels, making the Congress an outstanding platform for learning, sharing ideas, and creating solutions.

Resilient Cities by Numbers

We are happy to report that Resilient Cities Congress participation is once again gender balanced, and that numbers of participants from Oceania (4%) and Latin America (7%) increased.  To get more details on cities and regions represented at the congress, visit our website.

5th Open European Day 2018

The 5th edition of the Open European Day was organized on 25 April by ICLEI Europe and the European Environment Agency as a pre-event to Resilient Cities 2018. Over 155 local and national government representatives, as well as climate change adaptation experts discussed the most pressing issues facing climate change adaptation in Europe today.
