Resilient Cities Report 2018
 
We are thrilled to announce that the Resilient Cities Report 2018 is now online! The report reflects the outcomes of the Resilient Cities 2018 congress and captures broader developments in the field of urban resilience and climate change adaptation. It is based on the knowledge of international experts and practitioners who participated at the congress, April 26 - 28 in Bonn, Germany. The report features case studies from around the world, highlights newly available tools and solutions, and provides an overview of the state of urban resilience globally by exploring new directions and innovations in the field.
2018 Online Congress Proceedings
 
Every year we publish and promote the Online Congress Proceedings, a selection of academic papers written by expert speakers at Resilient Cities 2018. Their remarkable contributions to the congress were chosen during a thorough selection process from experts and practitioners worldwide to ensure high quality standards.

ICLEI World Congress 2018 at a glance
 
Every three years, ICLEI holds its World Congress to showcase how local and regional governments across our network are advancing sustainable urban development worldwide, simultaneously providing a platform for discussions to inform and enhance their work.

The ICLEI World Congress 2018 took place in Montreal, Canada between 19 - 22 June. find out more of what has been discussed during the 56 sessions, 3 pre-events, and 10 technical visits: #DidYouKnow that at the World Congress ICLEI announced its new Commitment and Strategic vision 2018 - 2024, as well as its new five pathways that cut across sectors and jurisdictional boundaries?

High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development
 
The high-level political forum on sustainable development is the United Nations central platform for follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs. Hosted in New York from 9 to 18 July, this year’s forum focused on "Transformation towards sustainable and resilient societies".

ICLEI contributed with its renowned experience and expertise on how to reinforce cooperation for sustainable and resilient urbanization.
